Crownwake
Ready to playClaim territories, capture beacons, and outsmart your rivals on a 3D world map.
A little about the game
Crownwake is a strategy game where you command armies across 36 territories and six continents. Reinforce your borders, launch assaults, build bastions, and cross sea routes to expand your reach. Choose
between capturing and holding strategic beacons or pursuing total world conquest. Combat combines army strength, terrain, fortifications, and dice, rewarding careful planning and calculated risks.
How to play
Crownwake makes the map itself your main decision: where to reinforce, which border to attack and which beacon you can defend. A turn has three stages, with time to inspect the board before committing.
Your first game
- Begin a solo campaign.
Choose a name and the beacon objective for a first match. You need to hold four of the six beacons until the start of your next turn; simply touching the fourth beacon is not enough.
- Place your reinforcements.
Select a friendly territory and deploy fresh units, or use Auto deploy to get into the campaign stage. The panel shows each territory’s owner, garrison and terrain.
- Spend your orders, then regroup.
You have three campaign orders. Select a friendly territory, then a reachable enemy to plan an assault, or build a bastion for defense. Regroup lets you transfer units through connected friendly lands before ending your turn.
Controls
- Click a territory
- Inspect it and choose available actions.
- Drag / scroll
- Orbit the map / zoom in or out.
- Right-drag
- Pan across the map.
- Home / reset button
- Restore the map view.
- The atlas
- Browse territories in a list.
A useful starting pointCompare garrisons and terrain before attacking. Combat includes a die roll and the defender wins ties, so a small numerical advantage does not make an assault certain.
