Cue Club
Ready to playChalk up for 3D eight-ball pool against the computer, a friend beside you, or an online rival.
A little about the game
Step into a warmly lit billiard room and make every shot count. Cue Club brings eight-ball pool to your browser with detailed 3D visuals, responsive ball physics, and control over power and spin.
Practice against three computer difficulty levels, share a screen with a friend, or send an invitation link for an online match. Line up shots with aiming guides, switch between overhead and behind-
the-cue views, and settle into a four-song soundtrack as you work toward the winning eight ball.
How to play
Cue Club is eight-ball pool with separate aim and power controls. That separation is useful for a first game: line up the cue, then choose how hard to strike instead of trying to do both at once.
Your first game
- Choose a computer opponent.
Start with Easy and press Break to enter the table. Local and online matches are also offered from the menu.
- Aim, charge and release.
Drag over the table or use the direction keys to line up a shot. Hold Space or the Shoot button to build power, then release it to strike.
- Clear your group before the eight ball.
Groups are assigned after the first pocket following the break. Clear your solids or stripes, then pocket the eight. Scratching or hitting the wrong group first can give your opponent ball in hand.
Controls
- Drag / A / D / ← / →
- Adjust your aim; hold Shift for finer keyboard adjustments.
- Hold Space / Shoot
- Charge power; release to take the shot.
- C
- Switch between overhead and behind-the-cue views.
- Wheel / W / S
- Adjust the camera.
- H / Esc
- Open help / pause.
A useful starting pointUse the overhead camera to read the table, then try the cue view for alignment. Before a shot at the eight, check that your own group is completely cleared; an early eight loses the rack.
Before you play
Computer mode and shot controls checked in desktop Chrome. These notes cover mouse and keyboard play; local sharing and online invitations were not tested.
